Shutters
Mechanical elements that are placed on the exterior or interior of a balcony or window to regulate the passage of light and control privacy
Shutters can be made of different materials, although PVC plastic and aluminum are the most popular for their lightness and resistance to deterioration. Shutters have a double opening and closing movement that is generally manifested in an up-and-down action. The most common system consists of rolling it up to collect it in an upper drum and unrolling it to unfold it. For this, shutters are made up of slats that are folded or rolled up in the case of roller shutters.
External shutters (especially the drawers of roller shutters) are large thermal and sound bridges, which facilitate the entry of cold, heat and noise into the home, which is why it is necessary to use drawers or insulating sheets.
