Fixed Floating Glass
Fixed Floating Glass description
Fixed Floating Glass has a smooth surface, excellent optical performance, stable chemical capacity and chemical intensity, and is covered with alkyd acid-proof protective paint.
Transparent or clear Floating Glass is used in offices, public buildings, homes and many other applications. Its cover layer is rigid and impregnated with good erosion resistance.
Floating Glass is available in different thicknesses and sizes and can improve its performance by acquiring resistance characteristics, thermal reduction and others, with the addition of specific processes as required, such as Tempering, which provides, through a thermal process, greater resistance to impacts, deflections and greater load capacity; Laminate, which consists of the union of several sheets of glass by means of an intermediate film made with polyvinyl butyral (PVB), which gives it additional security against breakage, since the pieces remain attached to it; and the Insulated, which is made up of two pieces of glass, separated from each other by an air chamber that gives it the capacity of thermal insulation and that offers a series of advantages, such as a 70% reduction in air conditioning energy consumption.
